I like these sketches! And you bring up a idea actually with your sprites, that while she's awake her eyes are open and while she is asleep her eyes are closed. Like she's, well, dreaming. XD'

And about the dragging in people involved with the project... my friend would like to come in as a concept artist.
By the way, when is a good time for meetings? Please let us know whenever you all have some free time, so we can all meet at a convenient time for all, if not, most of us~

I'm around a lot of the time (because I have no job sob), so I'm good whenever (until about 1-2AM EST at least).
Also, doodle, really nice work there! Love the sketches.

Nyrator: Thanks :') For the meeting thing...I'm not free this Saturday (I'm going to a friend's family party), but I'm usually free on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm also free after 5 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Sure! The more, the merrier aha

Sunday seem the day for meetings- we should really try to have our first this Sunday. I have yet to confer with Noyemi about a lot of the technical planning specifically - so I will need to do that first which is means Sunday is the best day for me right now. So, I guess drag everyone in you can then. And those that miss the meeting, either tell them what's up or to just send a message at me, either here or my other contacts.
This time we will have the meeting on the chatzy room, but for convience next time let's get a skype meet up going.
So until then, everyone brainstorm and figure out what sort of effects and maps and stuff you might like to see. Unless something dramatically changes, most of the active people here seem to prefer the housewife so we will just go ahead forward with her as a protagonist and F as a side protag of some sort.

the animation looks a 'lil weird though... especially from far away, so you'll have to zoom in to see it better... if need be, then I'll have to fix it, i guess!

I've been out sick the past week, but I might try my hand at making a sprite of our protagonist. I'm more worried about the number of members and the proportion of people with direct access to the project—so far only doodle and I have touched it (and if someone else has, their edits aren't public so that *may* require a bit of fixing!)
I still have to figure out simultaneous editing and stuff, too. Maybe if things like the database were off-limits at certain times of day or something, I dunno, but it's an honour code thing.

I was stuck with M256 after Nyrator, Noyemi, and Moga left an hour before I got on (not that that's a bad thing!). We really should post times or something nightly at a specific time... If everyone's free on the weekends, we could schedule a meeting at 8 or 9 PM EST Friday/Saturday/Sunday, or something like that.

Well, considering things. I will just go ahead and post several administrative points, that I went over with some of you guys individually. Basically Me, Noyemik, and possibly another person will be the core development team. I am going to be working with her to make sure it all goes together properly when we get to the point we start accepting user content.
We will put together a basic version of the game, only for the forums eyes that will be used for final evaluation before we accept said user content. Of you guys like it, then we will go forward or tweak it until we can go forward.
The basic idea is, you guys can fire off ideas all day and build worlds and all that and we will do the heavy lifting of making it happen. Of course the maps and worlds themselves ideally need to be done by said person. Either way the advantage of a small team is not having to juggle person a and person b when person c doesn't do what they said they would. Which leads to project halt. So any project questions or problems? Mail me in the future and I will address them.
Conceptually I think the housewife is a good start unless we have any other ideas we will do the testing version with her in mind as main and F as a sub character. Story, and effect discussions, mini games and the like are welcome and needed because the more that is ironed out now the more I can go ahead and have done with the test version.
So that said, this project is a go- we will bring you a test version in the future soon.

Well that's a nice idea but I think if I get bothered to make things too often (the idea is that individual projects come first while this is just a side thing) I might quit the project from stress. I think some other members probably would too.
Another thing is that 0.00 is planned to be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months down the line, so it's not necessary to bother anyone if the only people who need to work until 0.00 is the core team and a few ancillaries.
