Hey all! If you use FL Studio, LMMS, or any other DAW, you're probably thinking that getting *free* stuff for it would suck. Not so! Noyemi has the answers, and she'll start with the Kontakt 5 Player. That is actually a free version of Kontakt, and believe it or not, there are lots of great resources and repositories for Kontakt stuff (you can use any previous soundbanks with the Kontakt 5 Player, unless they're meant for the full Kontakt 5—which is rare.) --Kontakt-- 37+ Kontakt sound libraries await you here, including a very nice piano sound that I'm tempted to use myself. This French site contains harpsichords, a grandfather clock, church bells and more. They are also available as soundfonts and some are VSTs. A host of bizarre sounds awaits you at Bolder Sounds, though some of their stuff is for the Kontakt Sampler, not the free Player. The Audio Spotlight has a big list of free, well-made Kontakt libraries available for use. It's the best of these lists since it takes you directly to download pages rather than a site which also has for-pay products. --Soundfonts-- --VSTs-- **This list will be periodically updated as I find more instruments, and as they're reported in the thread proper**
